For some time i have been involved with the children ministry more intensively. It's really sweet to have a child run up only to give the biggest hug he/she can give. Not forgetting the toothless smile (from having weak teeth) and then have them sit on your lap the whole two hours and just being contented. Even though we dont speak the same language, we have an understanding no one can take away.
Just last week, this one particular child tried 'interviewing' me in Tagalog, asking me questions like whether there is snow in Singapore, whether i have a husband, and how come Singaporeans dont speak Tagalog. So many questions, so little time. And even though there is also a possibility she might not remember my name in a couple of years, but I sincerely hope that she will remember that there is Someone (our Father God) who does love her... very much and will be there for her for the rest of her life.
