When we arrived after the one hour drive, we discovered through one of the children that the usual tuition centre is not available for use. And at the other venue, a public basketball court, a party conducted by the village was held. So we, together with the 140 children walked the 100metres to an open air public playground, but still we had to go to the other side of the village to seek permission from the village ‘head’. Though this is not the best of venues, we had a place!
The theme for this week was ‘Noah’s Ark’.
We started with an action song. Followed by a short teaching of Noah’s Ark and God’s love and compassion. Then came activity time, a small sheet of paper with an animal drawn on it was given to each child. Actually, they all tried to snatch the papers, we couldn’t give it out quick enough! The crayons were quickly distributed, short of a fight. After the pieces were carefully coloured they were cut and pasted onto a 2-metre sheet of ‘Manila’ paper. Just look at the picture, isn’t it just beautiful?
Let’s keep praying for a venue that we can depend on. A place we can sing action songs and dance freely with all the children.

It looks fun there, seems like you can find fun and joy everywhere and with anyone :)
Cheers.
Yes! especially if one lets down their guard to love someone else. Believe me there's lots of preparation work done before hand for the 2 hour session :) Thanks and God bless.
I am so proud of you, Theresa. It brings me joy to see the kids smiling and enjoying themselves. May you be blessed abundantly in all the work you do.
